The Belmar Family Compound is two separate houses on one lot: A Shore Thing up front, sleeping six, and The Beach Bum in back, sleeping three. Each has its own kitchen, its own patio and grill, and its own bathroom.
A Shore Thing (the front house) has a Queen bedroom, a Full bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the office, one bath, in-unit laundry, quartz counters and a gas range. The Beach Bum (the back house) has a Queen bedroom and a Twin bedroom, its own bath, its own laundry, and a full kitchen sized for a smaller group. Both units run central air, keyless smart-lock entry, fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace, so nobody is fighting over the desk.
Between the two houses is where the compound earns its name: shared yard space, two patios with grills going at once, and nine beach badges already in a drawer somewhere. Three and a half blocks that way is the sand. The same distance the other way is Main Street. You can run a big family reunion or split into two smaller bookings that happen to share a fence.

Nine beach badges
Belmar charges for the beach by the day. Nine seasonal badges live in the compound, split across both units, so the whole group is covered before anyone asks.
Three and a half blocks, both ways
The ocean is a five to fifteen minute walk east. Main Street is the same walk the other direction. Most Belmar houses give you one or the other.
Two patios, two grills
Each unit has its own paver patio and its own gas grill. Cook two dinners at once, or combine them and eat as one group. Either works.
Beach gear that’s already here
Chairs and beach towels are in the compound. Load up, walk down, walk back. No hauling folding chairs from Pennsylvania on the roof of the car.
Two full kitchens
Quartz counters and a gas range in the front house, a well-equipped full kitchen in the back. Coffee, tea, spices and the basics are stocked in both.
A driveway, not just street parking
A two-car driveway comes with the compound, plus free on-street parking first-come, first-served for the rest of the group.

Everything worth driving to
is barely worth driving to.
Belmar sits in the middle of the good stretch of the Jersey Shore. Spring Lake, Ocean Grove, Asbury Park and Point Pleasant are all inside twenty-five minutes — which is why guests keep telling us they never moved the car.
Belmar Beach & the Boardwalk
The reason you came. A mile of guarded sand, a boardwalk that runs the length of it, and the Belmar Marina down on the inlet for sunset. Your nine badges are already in the compound — no queue at the badge stand on your first morning.
Spring Lake
The quiet one. Two miles of non-commercial boardwalk with no arcades and no bars on it, a lake with swans, and the kind of front porches people photograph. Go for the morning walk, come back for coffee.
Asbury Park & the Stone Pony
Where the night goes. The Stone Pony still books real shows, the boardwalk has been rebuilt into something worth the walk, and Convention Hall anchors the north end. Close enough to go on a whim, far enough that you sleep through it.
Ocean Grove & the Great Auditorium
A Victorian tent colony that never quite left the 1870s, wrapped around a 6,000-seat wooden auditorium with an organ worth hearing. Ten minutes and about a century from Asbury Park, which shares its border.
Manasquan Inlet
Where the river meets the ocean and the whole town turns out to watch boats run the jetty. Walk the inlet path, eat something fried, stay for the light going down over the water.
Jenkinson's Boardwalk
The full boardwalk apparatus — aquarium, arcade, rides, mini golf, funnel cake. This is the rainy-afternoon card, and the one that buys you an evening when the beach is not an option.

Worth knowing before you book
- Everyone in the group must be 30 or older, or accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is not a party house and we hold the line on it.
- Maximum nine guests across both houses. No exceptions.
- Two bathrooms total, one per house. Fine for the group; worth planning around if everyone wants to shower at once.
- A two-car driveway is included, plus free street parking, first-come first-served, for the rest of the group.
- The two houses share the yard between them. Each unit’s own patio is private.
- No pets, and no smoking anywhere on the property.
- Self check-in with your own smart-lock code, any time after 4:00 PM, for both units.
- Direct bookings complete a short rental agreement and a $750 refundable card hold before arrival instructions go out.
