Nine Belmar seasonal beach badges laid out for the compound's guests
Nine seasonal badges, in the compound, before you get there.
  • Nine beach badges, already here Belmar charges for the beach by the day. Nine seasonal badges come with the compound, so a group of nine isn’t lining up at the badge stand on the first morning.
  • Two full kitchens, two grills Neither unit shares a stove with the other. Cook breakfast for your family while the other house handles theirs, then meet on the patio for dinner.
  • No third-party service fee Booking here goes straight to us. There’s no platform taking a cut on top of your stay.
  • Two private entrances, one shared yard Each house has its own front door, its own patio and its own bathroom, so nobody trades privacy for the bigger group.
The Compound

Two front doors.
One family trip.

The Belmar Family Compound is two separate houses on one lot: A Shore Thing up front, sleeping six, and The Beach Bum in back, sleeping three. Each has its own kitchen, its own patio and grill, and its own bathroom.

A Shore Thing (the front house) has a Queen bedroom, a Full bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the office, one bath, in-unit laundry, quartz counters and a gas range. The Beach Bum (the back house) has a Queen bedroom and a Twin bedroom, its own bath, its own laundry, and a full kitchen sized for a smaller group. Both units run central air, keyless smart-lock entry, fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace, so nobody is fighting over the desk.

Between the two houses is where the compound earns its name: shared yard space, two patios with grills going at once, and nine beach badges already in a drawer somewhere. Three and a half blocks that way is the sand. The same distance the other way is Main Street. You can run a big family reunion or split into two smaller bookings that happen to share a fence.

This is a newer listing on Airbnb, built from two houses that already have their own history at the Jersey Shore. We’re not hiding that it’s new; we are telling you what’s actually here.

What You Get

The things that actually
change a group trip.

Nine beach badges

Belmar charges for the beach by the day. Nine seasonal badges live in the compound, split across both units, so the whole group is covered before anyone asks.

Three and a half blocks, both ways

The ocean is a five to fifteen minute walk east. Main Street is the same walk the other direction. Most Belmar houses give you one or the other.

Two patios, two grills

Each unit has its own paver patio and its own gas grill. Cook two dinners at once, or combine them and eat as one group. Either works.

Beach gear that’s already here

Chairs and beach towels are in the compound. Load up, walk down, walk back. No hauling folding chairs from Pennsylvania on the roof of the car.

Two full kitchens

Quartz counters and a gas range in the front house, a well-equipped full kitchen in the back. Coffee, tea, spices and the basics are stocked in both.

A driveway, not just street parking

A two-car driveway comes with the compound, plus free on-street parking first-come, first-served for the rest of the group.

Fully Stocked

Bring a bag.
That’s about it.

Both houses are stocked the way we’d want them if we were the ones arriving: shampoo, soap, beach chairs, coffee, the basics. Nine beach badges are already in a drawer, and both kitchens are ready to cook in before you’ve even unpacked.

Where You’ll Sleep

Five bedrooms.
Room for nine.

The front house (A Shore Thing) sleeps six across a Queen, a Full, and a queen sleeper sofa in the office. The back house (The Beach Bum) sleeps three across a Queen and a Twin. Each house has its own bathroom, so nine guests split across two bathrooms, not one.

In Their Own Words

2 reviews so far · brand-new listing

This exact listing is new, so we’re not going to pretend otherwise: Airbnb itself says the average rating shows once a listing hits three reviews. What we can tell you is that both houses that make up this compound already have their own longer history of five-star stays at the Jersey Shore under Endless Stays. The two reviews below are verbatim from the first guests to book the combined compound.

“Very lovely set up with nice outdoor seating areas. Great for family or any type reunion!”

“Had an awesome stay here! So close to the beach, simple check in and great communication from the host. Don’t have a bad thing to say about my vacation.”

What’s Around

Everything worth driving to
is barely worth driving to.

Belmar sits in the middle of the good stretch of the Jersey Shore. Spring Lake, Ocean Grove, Asbury Park and Point Pleasant are all inside twenty-five minutes — which is why guests keep telling us they never moved the car.

The Belmar boardwalk looking north at 13th Avenue, with the beach and dune fence alongside
3.5 blocks · 5–15 minute walk

Belmar Beach & the Boardwalk

The reason you came. A mile of guarded sand, a boardwalk that runs the length of it, and the Belmar Marina down on the inlet for sunset. Your nine badges are already in the compound — no queue at the badge stand on your first morning.

Spring Lake, New Jersey beach at sunrise with the boardwalk and dunes
5–15 minute drive

Spring Lake

The quiet one. Two miles of non-commercial boardwalk with no arcades and no bars on it, a lake with swans, and the kind of front porches people photograph. Go for the morning walk, come back for coffee.

The Stone Pony music venue in Asbury Park, New Jersey
10–20 minute drive

Asbury Park & the Stone Pony

Where the night goes. The Stone Pony still books real shows, the boardwalk has been rebuilt into something worth the walk, and Convention Hall anchors the north end. Close enough to go on a whim, far enough that you sleep through it.

The Great Auditorium in Ocean Grove, New Jersey
10–20 minute drive

Ocean Grove & the Great Auditorium

A Victorian tent colony that never quite left the 1870s, wrapped around a 6,000-seat wooden auditorium with an organ worth hearing. Ten minutes and about a century from Asbury Park, which shares its border.

Aerial view of the Manasquan Inlet where the river meets the Atlantic
15–25 minute drive

Manasquan Inlet

Where the river meets the ocean and the whole town turns out to watch boats run the jetty. Walk the inlet path, eat something fried, stay for the light going down over the water.

Looking south along Jenkinson's Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey
15–25 minute drive

Jenkinson's Boardwalk

The full boardwalk apparatus — aquarium, arcade, rides, mini golf, funnel cake. This is the rainy-afternoon card, and the one that buys you an evening when the beach is not an option.

“We own both houses and we run them ourselves, which means when you message, you get one of us, not a queue. We stock each unit the way we’d want it if we were the ones pulling up after a three-hour drive: chairs and towels ready to go, badges in the drawer, coffee in the cupboard. Belmar’s our home market. If you want to know where to eat on a Tuesday in September, just ask.”

  • The two houses share the yard between them. Each unit’s own patio is private.
  • No pets, and no smoking anywhere on the property.
